NetNAT Configuration Manual

Concepts

The NetNAT is a sophisticated IP Router with a large set of extended security and network design features. Firewall functionality is provided by a greatly enhanced set of RFC 1631 features. See The NetNAT Description for more details.

New 32-Bit Version

Our new 32-bit version is the prefered package for the non-dialup environment. Complete documentation for it is available. We worked really hard to document every generally-interesting command. This set of HTML and PDF files represent the latest and greatest of NetNAT documentation.

Commands

There are many commands for the NetNAT user. They are categorized as:

Global Commands - Relating to the NAT in general
Interface Commands - Creating, deleting or configuring an interface
Service Proxy Commands - Controlling the translation of addresses
Syslog Service Commands - Managing the remote logging
IP Routing Commands - Directing the message paths
User Commands - Display user information and control the powerful Artificial Intelligence Predictive Dialer Facility.
